On a number of days throughout the year we are closed for the afternoon for staff training.
We try to give our patients adequate notice of this in various ways such as posters in the surgery and on repeat prescription side slips, but as not all patients attend the surgery we post closure days on this website for patient information.

We are closed for PLT – Protected Learning Time from 1:00pm on :-
- Wednesday 18th March 2026 – Closes at 1pm and re-opens at 8am Thursday 19th March 2026
- Wednesday 15th April 2026 – Closes at 1pm and re-opens at 8am Thursday 16th April 2026
- Thursday 21st May 2026 – Closes at 1pm and re-opens at 8am Thursday 22nd May 2026
- Wednesday 17th June 2026 – Closes at 1pm and re-opens at 8am Thursday 18th June 2026
- Wednesday 15th July 2026 – Closes at 1pm and re-opens at 8am Thursday 16th July 2026
- Thursday 20th August 2026 – Closes at 1pm and re-opens at 8am Friday 21st August 2026
- Wednesday 16th September 2026 – Closes at 1pm and re-opens at 8am Thursday 17th September 2026
- Wednesday 21st October 2026 – Closes at 1pm and re-opens at 8am Thursday 22nd October 2026
- Thursday 19th November 2026 – Closes at 1pm and re-opens at 8am Friday 20th November 2026
- Wednesday 16th December 2026 – Closes at 1pm and re-opens at 8am Thursday 17th December 2026
We will re-open at 8:00am the following day.

Prescriptions due to be collected on these days will be available for collection the following day.
