The surgery is a dispensing practice. Most of our patients can obtain their medication from the surgery itself. Prescriptions may be requested in person, by post or by telephoning 01205 480237. You can also order repeat prescriptions at any time using our on-line request system available via the link at the top of this page.
Our telephone lines are very busy in the morning so please try to order after 11:00 if possible.
Repeat prescriptions can be ordered 7 days in advance, this is to allow time for any queries to be resolved and deliveries to be received from our suppliers.
Once received by Dispensary your request will be actioned within the 3 working days.
If you have signed up for our delivery service, please order one week before your allocated delivery day.
To reduce waste, please only order what you need. Every month we have a quantity of medication returned to us that cannot be re-used and must be thrown away.
When can I collect my prescription?
To avoid confusion about when your prescriptions will routinely be ready for collection, please refer to the information below:

Orders received after 16:00 on any day will roll over onto the next day’s workload.
We realise that occasionally patients forget to order in time or lose their medication and in these circumstances the dispensers will do their best to help you but please try to keep this to a minimum as it disrupts the workflow in the dispensary.
The dispensary is open from 8:00am until 6:30pm Monday to Friday apart from the third Thursday in the month when we do not offer a routine dispensing service between 12:30pm and 4:00pm.
